Day 1: Arrival at Jaipur:

Upon arrival check in at the hotel,after some rest takes a half day sightseeing to the City Palace which is still the formal residence of the royal family. Also visit Chandra Mahal, ShriGovindDeo Temple and the City Palace Museum that has the private collection of Jaipur Maharajas. Later visit JantarMantar, a stone observatory, which is the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

 

Day 2. Jaipur

After breakfast we will take a full day sightseeing tour to the Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers away from Jaipur. En-route, visit the HawaMahal. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant to reach the gates of the fort. Before proceed to hotel we will take a walk through the colorful markets of Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 3.Jaipur –Jodhpur

Early morning after breakfast, check out from Hotel & drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan and is also known as the blue city as most of the houses of the old city are painted blue. The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates. On your tour of Jodhpur you visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which was built on a steep hill. The fort is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes. Later proceed to visit the JaswantThada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble. You also stroll down the markets of Jodhpur.Overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur.

 

Day 4.Jodhpur –Jaisalmer

After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer's crenellated golden sandstone walls and its narrow streets lined with exquisitely carved buildings make this city unique. Jaisalmer is famous for its carved havellis (grand mansions). In medieval times, its prosperity was due to its location on the main trade route which links India to Egypt, Arabia, Africa and the West. Jaisalmer is a marvel of beautiful culture and this city remains one of the most exotic city not only in Rajasthan but in the whole of India. Some of the visitors called this city “a living museum”. Arrive in Jaisalmer in the evening. Rest of the day at leisure..

 

Day 5.Jaisalmer

Today we have a walk through the old city and visit the fort and the Jain temple. In the afternoon we drive around 40 km away from Jaisalmer to Sam dunes where we enjoy the sunset before we drive back to Jaisalmer.

 

Day 6.Jaisalmer-Bikaner

After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Late evening check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure.

 

Day 7.Bikaner-Jaipur

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and do a halfday sightseeing with Junagarh Fort (1571-1611 AD) constructed of red sandstone and marble with kiosks and balconies embellishing the structure at intervals. This imposing fort and its palaces will be an unforgettable experience for us.&drive to Jaipur, where you will be transferred to the Jaipur airport/ railway station for your onward journey.
